Blue Prince questions and spoilers (about paintings in the house - unhide if you are okay answering questions about that) looking for 'rough' answers not a complete here's how you do it...

So in the vaguest of terms as I don't want the whole puzzle solved for me but I found the study and figured out the paintings are in in pairs and from the example on the board, I have sussed out that you have to come up with the words for the double set, and identify the letter removed to get from one word to the other... IE - Face to ace in the example = F. I found a lot of the paintings so another example would be coat to cot so the letter for the message = A. Since the painting sets change room based on your drafting and run, I am wondering how to spell whatever message it is I'll find? My thoughts are that on every run, I need to keep track of the letter for each room. When you press R and it bring up the rooms, it numbers them. Is it just as simple as putting the letters in the order of the rooms based on that number, and that's why the paintings shift each run? IE - at some point, I am going to have found all 44 painting sets and got 44 letters... I am just curious on how to order them to create the message I need to move on..

 

I love Oblivion to death, but Clair Obscur has me too hyped to give a shit if they release it now.

 

Thankfully I have no past love or Nostalgia for Bethesda titles and can happily ignore this, will be hopefully having a blast with Clair Obscur.

 

I know I’m picking on Microsoft a lot. It’s because they suck shit. But man they really take every opportunity to be bad.
