It’s a solid AA shooter, it’s got some jank but that’s the charm of it. Plus, mowing down bad dudes as RoboCop is always a good time.

FFXVs score is probably my favorite of the series (of the games I’ve played)

 

Her music definitely adds to the games uniqueness. One of my favorite things about that specific game when talking about the overall series to me.

 

Shimomura is very hit or miss for me (particularly in KH, not as much FFXV where she's pretty perfect) but she deserves all the praise

 

Mario Kart World looks so damn good

 

As someone who only buys Nintendo consoles to play first party stuff and doesn’t care about the mouse/camera type stuff, this has been extremely underwhelming. Mario Kart is the only thing that’s been exciting to me so far. Thankfully, it looks great

I have a major tendency these days to not finish games so who knows if I'll get to the end, but I really like / borderline love Citizen Sleeper so far.

Something about the gameplay loop is simplistic, but also feels like there's a lot of choice with what you can do in a cycle, and I love the art style. Despite the reading / text, I think it's parsed out well and it's not overwhelming 'text dumps'. Sure, voice acting would be nice, and I've been spoiled by Disco Elysium, but I gotta say, it doesn't feel like it needs it so far.

It's funny as I wanted to stop playing video games before bed and get back to reading, and here I am playing what's essentially a graphic novel.

 

$79.99 for Mario Kart lol. Fuck off.
