Holy shit I wasn't expecting this announcement!

 

Fall 2025, the same window as FC remake, is insane. Falcom really said "come on bro fill your big belly up with all this Trails come on man just one more game come on dude eat up"

I actually looked at the article now and they mention that retailers expect to sell out of pre-orders on day 1, even with the large stock Nintendo apparently has.

that's what I did for the PS5 and worked out well

for Switch I walked into a GameStop (rip) across from my office as soon as that first trailer ended and put $50 down. every paycheck after that I just put another $50 down and by the time March came around it felt... free? lol

 

I went into Target like a month after the Switch came out and I was walking by and saw two in the case still. I called my friend and he left his class to come grab the other one.

 

I managed to get a preorder on Amazon last time, that’s my first plan

 

yeah my switch pre-order was such a nothing burger. I ordered on amazon the day they came available and I was playing Zelda on my brand new switch day one without a care in the world.

bezos can have a little space, as a treat.

 

I got a day 1 XSX pre-order from Target and a day 1 PS5 from Amazon. And ahhh the days when I had money and an income. lol

I also ended up buying two more PS5s directly from PS over the next several months and sold them to my friends. My only skill in life is my ability to refresh a page like a fucking maniac.

The PS Direct or whatever it's called is actually a great system. No trying to refresh broken websites for over an hour. You get your place in queue and you hold onto your butts and see what happens. Hopefully places like Target or Walmart implement a similar system by now.

Replaying all the Ratchet & Clank games in order via Playstation streaming. The streaming is rock solid to be fair - I'd heard negative comments about input lag etc., but literally no issues so far.

Finished the original earlier today. Definitely a lot rougher than I remember, but it is nearly 20 years since I last played it. Started the sequel, and it's such an improvement in every way. Feels so much smoother, weapons are more fun, much better writing, controls are tighter. Definitely holds up to my childhood memory.
