Ronaldo's involvement was announced a long time ago but i REALLY didn't think he'd be playable!!
thought he'd be an NPC to boost sales in the LATAM market, hahah


and yeah, you can argue that Tyson in Punch Out!!! set the precedent but that's technically not a fighting game

 

I once had an idea for a fighting game where all the characters would represent different sports and their moves would reflect their sport, but also you had to score points like in their respective sports.

So if you played as the basketball player, you had to score baskets, but the baseball player had to hit a home run.

Never got past the idea stage since I was probably like 10 years old at the time.

 

The Battlefield games are on super deep discounts right now and it crossed my mind to pick some of them up just to play through their campaigns once. Any suggestions? I was thinking of at least getting Battlefield 1 and V for the world war 1 and 2 campaigns

 

Battlefield V has an awful campaign split up into 3 war stories that you basically select from a menu as far as I remember.

Picked up Need for Speed Heat for less $4. Looks really good and is fun as hell.

 

my brother gave me his old PC and he said it’s lowkey bad if you want the newest games and stuff.

I was like eh I’ll just trash it but then I realized I could turn it into the ultimate emulator for ps2 games and all that.

 

He told me the PC was a prebuilt from like 2018 so yeah and I don’t feel like really updating it or messing with it since I’m not smart but I can emulate stuff that be cool.

 

Redownloaded Gears of War 5 on gamepass just for some multiplayer and no matter how much time passes, I still got it. Was MVP my first game back lol

 

Been playing Deus Ex Human Revolution on Deck and it still rocks, this cover system was so good

 

tried the demo for AI limit after seeing some folks on here talk about it (and mesc on stream)

on my radar now and it never was

 

AI Limit got really weird coverage when the demo was out, a bunch of really good souls players (lilaggy, for one), played it and like... I don't want to assert malice but they literally didn't pick up the parry and stuff. They really did the game dirty imo.

I'm absolutely implying that people decided fairly early that Khazan is the chosen one and just played AI Limit out of "obligation"/sponsorship.

Crossing my fingers for a halfway serviceable PC port, even though for the price, the demo was already good enough. Excited to get started tonight!

 

It’s gonna hurt not being able to preorder one. Hopefully stock is decent by the time I can get one.

 

do you need to, uh, have cash on hand to preorder? I don't wanna put the 400 down either but if it's the type of "we'll charge you when it ships" I'm down.
