I kinda want to check out Shadows. I’ve never played an AC game other than watching a friend play the one in Italy for a few minutes back in college.

 

I do as well but I have too much I’m currently playing, I’ll probably pick it up on a sale.

 

I REALLY appreciate the checkpoints that auto save while invading a big castle/area, it SUCKS when you die and need to start the entire location over again, Shadows is very generous with its auto saving.

 

Omg I totally forgot to mention that as a selling point lol. The first time I died in a stronghold I was expecting to go all the way back to the beginning but my auto save took me back like.....a minute? That's a QoL I'm a huge fan of, especially if you're someone like me who sits and memorizes where people walk and takes time to whistle guards off to secluded areas, a stronghold can take at least half an hour minimum......yeah this helps a LOT.

 

I just did a giant castle that took like 45 mins WITH the generous autosaves haha. Some of these areas are fuckin huuuuuuuge.

 

Ended up getting Shadows as I’ve been wanting a new game to test GeForce Now with. I have my Mac Mini hooked up to my C4 and am playing it in 4K. Still tinkering with settings but it’s looking and playing mostly great.

Combat is a lot of fun - usually my least favorite thing about games like this!

Ngl sometimes it feels like cheating when I'm Naoe and I ascend the outside of the castle with my hook and slip in the trap door on the roof and the loot is super close by haha.

 

This is fucking awesome and I wish I didn’t have plans tonight so I could keep playing. I’m already having more fun with the stealth aspects than I’ve had with anything since like Far Cry 3. Idk why I’ve slept on this franchise for so long.

The destructible environments are so good - I just fucked up and broke down the wall to my hiding spot lol

 

I am running late to a wedding reception but damnit I had to finish this run and I’m so happy lmao

 

Guys this game is so much fun. The Kurasigama is such a joy to fight with, chipping away at multiple enemies doing aoe dmg. The first time I used it I wasn't aware that in doing the aoe it ALSO breaks down walls/barriers next to you and alerted an elite I had been avoiding.

Then I was in town doing a story quest and I thought the areas I was in was secluded, it was me vs like 4 or 5 so I pulled it out and was swinging and didn't realize it took down a wall, that alerted the local guards and what looked like a super elite .....they all rush in so there's maybe around a dozen hanging up on me......RIP.

 

Look Outside is so great. Body horror Indie RPG survival game. It's so fun. Only 10 bucks on Steam.

 

the more Bloodborne I play the madder I get that the game is essentially forever stuck on PS4 (legally).

 

Just took out the monkey king in Split Fiction

 

It looks so so so awesome, deff wishlisted.

 

Did anyone play the First Bezerker demo? Are you picking it up this week? EA is tomorrow. Interested to see reviews about this one, I think the reaction to the demo was overall very positive.
