I still think sucker punch is an elite tier studio and am sure if they just iterate on what works Yotei will be a smash

 

I liked Tsushima. Solid 7-8/10 or so for me

 

It's no RDR2 I'll tell you that.

 

GoT isn't a perfect game, but it was a perfect experience for me.

 

I’ve also been replaying Tsushima since I never played the DLC and knew it wasn’t accessible until about midway through the main game. I agree that it’s a solid 7.5/8 out of 10. The repetitiveness definitely drags it down a bit and there are some other parts that I find tedious, but the combat, game world, and guidance system are all good. Very few games are as peaceful to explore.

 

The only perfect game is balatro

they should just make an AC game with good enemy ai and good stealth. maybe they can patch that into Shadows. game looks dope otherwise but its the same poor code for these two things.

 

Shadows might just be my GotY as of this moment. There's just something so satisfying about clearing out strongholds and being under leveled so you have to further plan out strategies. Plus devs have added more ways to interact with the environment to change up gameplay and it feels so good to be a ninja.

 

Eh changing difficulty settings is a thing this time around. Change settings and the AI enemies notice you on the roof now and the only way you can avoid them is by laying down and ACTUALLY staying out of sight. I'd say that's better than how you could previously stand on the rooftop right above them and survey the area while staying out of their sight.

Nice, hope you enjoy it. At its core it's same ol Ubisoft but after playing Valhalla for a bit before this, i think it feels different enough with how they've added stuff that I don't feel burnt out. It's not revolutionary but it's enough to feel fresh.

My only real complaint is that sometimes in the open world when you're running around you can enter a shaded area with no light, nothing but trees and it gets really dark and I find myself running into the sides of mountains and I'm holding down the X button so Naoe tries to climb a mountain slope with no footholds and I'm just like ugh stop. But that's AssCreed, game tries to climb when you know you can't.

 

If that exact same game would have been made by Ubisoft the reception would have been way colder
