AC Shadows: what a beautiful game. And yeahhhhh I can see why some people don't like this prologue/tutorial. ESPECIALLY if they don't like the modern day/Animus/Abstergo stuff because the way they break it up in different pieces. But yeah I'd say it was like 75% story and cutscenes and 25% gameplay. Maybe even 70/30 lol. The story definitely has me hooked though, I want to know more and while we spent more time as Naoe, I enjoyed what but we got to see Yasuke. And the Abstergo stuff is like breadcrumbs...as much as I have been waiting for a Japan AC, in one of the few that actually LIKES the present day story so any chance to explore what's happening with Abstergo/Isu I'm in.

Nice, just wait til you see the end of the prologue. If the ending cutscene doesn't do anything for ya....I dunno lol. I was like GIVE ME MORE. Haha you'll know what I'm talking about when it happens.



Also the music in this game is CERTAINLY a choice. A very interesting one too because it's equal parts showing and equal parts refreshing. It......fits. Kill Bill vibes.

 

XCX DE is fucking gorgeous and so much fun I could not be more god damn SATISFIED. JFG ALL WEEKEND, NOT SPEAKING OR INTERACTING WITH A SINGLE OTHER SOUL IRL. JUST MY CAT.

 

Finished Daybreak II. Definitely my least favorite of the franchise. Still a good game, but a bit of a letdown.

 

Just saw people are being totally normal online about AC Shadows and Ghost of Tsushima

 

The people that are mad at AC Shadows were also mad about Ghost of Yotei so.... who gives a fuck what these chuds are saying.

 

I certainly don't. It's just pathetic that these losers have to turn everything into a war.

 

These the same chuds who were swearing up and down that the game would be a failure and that ghosts would fail too cuz female lead? Fucking losers.

 

AC Shadows was never going to fail. The question is, is it a big enough hit to save Ubisoft.

this is not just true for video game chuds but for chuds of all genres, people play right into their hands by taking an easy opportunity to dunk on them for brownie points and all the end up doing is platforming them and spreading their reach
