Finished Split Fiction last night. Ending was as insane as everyone says. Loved playing the game throughout but the characters did wear on me in the last few chapters. Just the two dumbest people imaginable.

Josef Fares, please hire a new writer for the next game.

is anyone getting ac: shadows and hyped about it? I haven't played anything new in the last few months and am itching for something new to play.

I was getting hyped for it but the recent vids are killing the vibe

 

I’ve played all AC games and have a love hate relationship with them, this is where i’m choosing to get off the train. Just have too many highly lauded titles in my backlog to really entertain the open world meaningless slop title right now. Maybe a couple years from now i’ll pick it up free somewhere and enjoy it for 30-50 hours before inevitably getting tired of it.

 

Yeah I’m excited for it. Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla were all great. I love the semi rpg open world style they have going on.

 

The reviews revived my interest in the new AC, just not sure I'll get it right away. Played the demo for the new Atelier last night and might grab that first.

 

There’s so many good games coming out, no way in hell I’ll give money/time to Ubisoft.

 

what are some new ones coming out that are worth looking into or that youre excited about?

 

XCX DE at midnight i can’t fucking believe I get to dive into another XC world

 

I know it’s more than a month out but Expedition 33 being around the corner helps me ignore AC, I’ve got enough books or shows or movies to catch up on in that time frame.

 

By the time I’m done playing XCX and the REDACTED Remake and the rest of my backlog - I should be able to get the new AC super cheap. I just can’t justify the $70 for a new one knowing how quick they drop in price.

I haven’t loved one since Origins.

I could probably just say cause I doubt they check chorus but yeah I give updates on playing it

 

Expedition 33 and Death Stranding 2 are the only upcoming games I’d consider getting at release atm.

also lately I’ve been replaying MGSV with a mod that makes all the soldiers you fulton S-tier, shit rocks
