What a slap in the face to people who love Half Life, but don't have VR for Steam.

I feel like they're trying to make VR happen by making an exclusive Half-Life game for it but I feel like that franchise's relevance has passed.

 

You don’t think that Half-Life 3 would make an impact?

I’m looking at getting one on Black Friday because I’m due for an upgrade.

 

i bought a brand new 58” 4K hdr set from Samsung for 500 euros the other day.

like you have to actively try to buy a bad one haha.

I guess if you’re looking to play games on it make sure the panel has low latency.

I adore VR and think it's one of the absolute best ways to experience games, but the market just hasn't turned enough to it for this to be a good idea. The perception is still rather negative which is incredibly dumb and usually from people who haven't played it.

 

VR fucking rules without question. I had a great time every time I tried it. A shame I don’t really have a good enough anything to run it.
