that game is super fun but mostly for people who dont mind grindy games.

the level of customization might be intimidating (you can level up items, characters, reincarnate, buy passive abilities, increase weapon master by using, increase skill efficiency by using, get skills from other characters and a lot more)

but you don’t need to know all of them to finish the game

 

monsters can become weapons, you can stack characters on top of each other and they can use new skills, lots of jobs to choose from, shops increase level when repeatedly transacting with them, and there’s a senate of demons you can propose bills to (you have to bribe them with items so they approve your bill, but if they disagree you can fight them to change their minds).

basically it’s this compilation of game mechanics that you’re free to use or not use depending on how deep you want to play

Finished the Messenger DLC in about 2 hours. It’s really great. It was a good idea to lock it behind beating the main game, because it’s mostly just a bunch of really good, really hard platforming that makes you use all of your mobility upgrades. Hoping it gets a sequel that doubles down on how well this DLC was designed and drops some of the not-so-great ideas in the main game.

Depends on what kind of gameplay you're looking for. I would argue RDR2 has the best drawer-opening gameplay of all time.

I played the first Dishonored but hardly remember it. It's Thief but not bad is my take

The drawers in RDR2 were so much more realistic man. The attention to detail in the animation of bending over slightly, reaching out, and pulling it open made me feel things no other AAA game has been able to stir in me in years. Decades, even.

Moose tbh it sounds like you're just describing straight-up good gameplay, let alone good drawer gameplay. Like, you'd have to be a fool to make the process any more complicated than that. Just, like, a total and complete misguided fool who probably shouldn't have crunched their employees so hard just to stuff their game with tedious, fun-lessening "realism" like realistic drawer-opening animations.

Realistic is such a nonsense buzzword anyway because irl a drawer would have to be literally on fire for it to be as painful to open as the drawers in RDR2 are
