I missed the soundtrack talk but I want to say Chrono Cross has the greatest soundtrack ever. Octopath Traveler is really good too.

 

FFVII, Mario 64, and Kingdom Hearts all have iconic soundtracks to me. Nier A and Persona 5 have the best soundtracks in recent memory. Honorable mention to the Tony Hawk series, which I'm sure is a huge reason a lot of us are on this website in the first place. First time I heard Alkaline Trio and Nas was Tony Hawk's Underground.

beating CPUs in mario kart and smash bros gets boring after a while and online play is too hard so you need people you can assert your superiority to.
