There was a SEGA streaming service in 1997. Sega Channel was the best shit ever.

Moving all computation to the cloud does open up the possibility for games we can't access now. They were talking about 1000 person BR games, which I think is an okay idea, but I think the idea of having a massive all out war of thousands of people, either in a medieval or modern warfare setting could be incredibly cool.

So pleased Castle Crashers is being remastered. I mentioned it a couple pages back. Wicked timing. Especially for Switch folk too.

 

It's been remastered. They did it for the ONE. I am assuming it is the same version that is coming to the Switch.

Not really. Microsoft or Sony are great examples of how you can just muscle yourself in. As is the App Store (i.e. Apple).

 

Yeah like Sony beat all the competition with their first console by a mile

 

That story is extra wild because the PS1 was supposed to be a Nintendo console. Nintendo's behaviour is the reason Sony entered the industry.

 

If Microsoft does follow this path it will be interesting.

I think Nintendo will be fine but what would happen to PS? As someone mentioned, are they going to become the dinosaurs.
