i feel like his “angry kid” arc was pretty short but maybe i’m misremembering

 

Maybe it was, but it went from angry kid to arrogant once he found out he was a god.

 

He was supposed to be a brat, I didn't understand the arguments against that section. It didn't seem that long and it served it's purpose

God of War not being GotY at Giant Bomb only surprises people that don’t know Giant Bomb.

 

They have always championed pure focused gameplay experiences more than any other outlet and there’s value in that.

 

i don’t think most were saying anything to contradict either of those points

 

Yeah I’m just surprised that it’s even a point of discussion. Like of course they wouldn’t. If this would have been the original “cast” it probably would have barely made the list.

Also Tetris winning some GotY somewhere is actually cool because games like that although basically perfect don’t get enough love because they’re not dazzling.

That’s all I’m saying.

Tetris Effect is fantastic. No one is knocking that game.

 

GoW was good and I enjoyed it, but I was also disappointed. The combat was good though.

 

whats the innovation in this new Tetris game? all Ive got is google images but wow. Its Tetris and Tetris is the oldest hat.

There's more than just VR, but whatever. It's also tied to the beat of the music and there are ways to knock out a lot of lines at once.

Tetris is awesome. I don't see what the problem is here.

 

I want to the ability to replay. Haven't played it yet but can't help but feel I'll be worrying about the length of time I have left.

I feel like I went through it pretty quick for this exact reason, I was exploring as much as I could but also kind of rushing through it. And my timer at the end was 20 minutes, if that helps.
