See that’s what I thought. Microsoft owns that first game or at least the publishing rights.

 

prolly just the publishing rights cuz insomniac owns the ip outright now

 

Yeah, Sony now owns the IP going forward, but the original game (I believe) is a Microsoft exclusive forever.

Insomniac has always owned the IP, Microsoft never did.

 

Games that have previously been published by Microsoft/Sony have gone multi plat later on before

 

Yeah but I thought I remember there being something with this deal specifically where MS had the publishing rights in perpetuity.

 

What's everyone currently playing? Anyone play Control? I heard that was good.

Just finished A Plague Tale: Innocence and picked up playing The Cave again. May start Rime in the next day or so as well

 

im really hoping for gran turismo 7 as a launch title for ps5. they haven't put out a proper gt title since 2013. sport was meh and became ok and also not a proper gt game. plus updates for sport have slowed down and are not as good as they used to be

I'll have to look these up, only ever heard of Rime.

Seems that way haha. I was playing Uncharted 3 before FF7R came out, but now I'm three trophies away from platinum on that. Then I think I'll go back and finish Uncharted. Restart God of War, something like that.

Yes, it's not that great.

 

How so?

 

The puzzles aren't really interesting or all that hard. Could probably beat it in a day or two. The game looked cool though. I don't even really remember what it was about. I was so stoked for it when it was first anounced, but left disappointed by the final product.

 

Rime is fine. Some interesting stuff in it but mostly just goes through the motions.

 

Seems like a nice calm palate cleanser of sorts
