If you have a Switch and really enjoy classic RPGs, I highly highly recommend downloading the Project Octopath Traveler demo. I usually don't take the time to try demos but made an exception for it since it's from the team who did Bravely Default. It's beautiful and about as classic of an RPG as a game can get - with a beautiful mesh of 16-bit graphics and 3D graphics, random battle encounters, and villages and inns. The name is a working title and set to come out in 2018 sometime.

Divinity Original Sin 2 has really roped me in. Sometimes I'm not into the camera angles, but the combat and lore is just so damn good.

 

The first was so, so good. I'm not quite ready to dig deep into another CRPG at the moment but I'll definitely get to it sometime this fall/winter.

 

No Man's Sky is a weird game

I found out about the Original Sin series closer to 2 coming out, so I just waited for that to not get burnt out by the denseness of CRPGs. 2 is so good so far though.

 

I have Divinity 1 and I quit during the very first encounter. Can't tell what I disliked so much about it. I think it would be better on PC ot even a handheld for me.

 

I can't imagine playing Divinity with a controller.

 

It's being on a TV doesn't help either

 

yea, BFII is all free DLC, but microtransactions out the wazoo!!!

 

I totally forgot Xbox doesn’t have Snap anymore and I’m so sad about that.

I've decided that both the PS4 and the Xbox One have shitty operating systems. The PS4's OS is very fast and prioritizes user input, which is great, but the UI is so random and annoying. The Xbox One, at least in 2017, is much better with regards to UI design in my opinion, but it's soooo slooooow and chuggy, which drives me insane sometimes.

I want my 360 back. Also Switch OS FTW.

 

Is Divinity OS any good? Looks tempting
