Do you think it's safe to say that was an Executive decision and wasn't focus tested?

 

I have played/owned ~5 COD titles and never once played a campaign on any of them, not too upset about it lol

 

Opposite for me. MW3 was probably the last title I spent more time on MP then the campaign.

 

i think the only campaigns i played for COD were Black Ops 1 and 2.

 

I simply stopped buying CoD when the campaign's took a hit. Unless the Battle Royale mode is incredible, this isn't going to be the game to change it for me.

 

I have typically waited for a steep sale and bought them for campaign only.

I have the last two sitting in my queue to play. No campaign is a no-buy for me.

 

Like less than 10% of players touch the campaign or something crazy like that so it’s not too wild to just cut the cord at some point

 

Man, guess Activision is blazing new trails in how to squeeze blood from stones.

 

in my dream scenario the new COD would be priced at $40 for just multiplayer and BR mode

and they could do a $70 edition with the season pass but my dreams suck so that would never happen.

I think Halo BR would be my ideal BR gameplay loop.

 

I just don't get the whole Fortnite/PUBG craze. I played a few games of Fortnite and it was so lame dying in the beginning of a game and then just sitting doing nothing until the game finally ended.

I guess so. I think I only played 2 games of the demo/beta or whatever so didn't really think too much of it.

 

I used to buy every single COD game and beat it on veteran. Really enjoyed that, but all in all, don't find any enjoyment in the series anymore.

 

Dude I would so play Yoshi's Murder Island. If anyone needs a dark, gritty reboot, it's definitely Yoshi.

 

I don't either but I just assume I'm not their type of gamer they're seeking so idk.
