I went on a crazy marathon where I just played RDR2 every possible chance I got when it first came out for the first like 5 days and then never touched it again. Having said that yes it’s absolutely worth it.

Is RDR2 perfect? No but it’s still a great game. Plus compared to some of the shit that gets hyped in here, well...

Almost every game that’s been hyped in here, I’ve enjoyed more than RDR2.
It’s an absolute slog to play through. The story was great, but everything else was a chore

I kindly disagree. I don’t think Rockstar took any risks to set the bar higher or challenge themselves, but I thoroughly enjoyed playing every part of it. Bounty hunting, legendary hunting/fishing, finding probably at least 100 unmarked locations with weird Easter eggs/weapons/collectibles, side character missions that are actually funny/endearing at times, treasure hunting, serial killer tracking... I could go on forever baby!

When it comes to open world games it’s probably my 3rd favorite right now, and I’ve never even once played online. I wanted to play undead nightmare I just haven’t gotten around to it.

No. That's $27 dollars too expensive.

Oh yeah I love walking through snow for extended amounts of time in a game made by people that apparently think walking through snow is like walking through partially dried concrete. True magic.

    ;D

    Assume It's A Bit

Probably was just cause I had just come off of Spider-Man, but I simply could not deal with how slow RDR2 was

RDR2 is the ultimate test for people who say they value narrative in games above everything else lmao.

I used to think I was one of those people, but I couldn't even make it through Act 3.

I for one spent more time robbing and shooting in RDR2 than anything else.

RDR2 was a joy from the very first second until the very last, and I for one immediately understood and always appreciated everything that game was trying to do. I respect that the game is not everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s a game that clicked with me on every facet possible, and is easily one of my favorites of all time.

the gunplay in rdr2 is a blast and the world is impressive. they just need to completely update their mission design and do away with the tap ‘x’ button to run nonsense.
