On Xbox at least it'll run and look a little better on next gen out of the gate and will receive a proper next gen patch in the future. I assume PS is the same.

 

Cyberpunk will run but won’t be optimized for next gen consoles on day one.

proper next gen versions are planned for February.

 

I’m pretty sure they said it will be more stable and have better load times and so on right away

 

Regardless, if you are upgrading from a base PS4/Xbox One, you'll definitely notice, because Witcher 3 looks and runs soo much better on One X than one regular Xbox One.

 

the xbox Series S will run the One (S) version, the Series X will run the One X version.

Idk, two generations, “One” and “Series”, both with two models, “S” and “X”. It’s not confusing to me because it’s consistent. I wouldn’t have gone withe “Series” though.
