I think part of it is that I am very emotionally reactive to things. I've had this problem my entire life and it's very hard to maintain and improve so when I see something online, specifically Twitter or Reddit that I find to be obnoxious, inflammatory or hateful, I make snappy responses. I also think things have just gotten much much worse online compared to when I was younger. When Myspace and Facebook were just starting, sure there was like some trolls and hateful people, but for me it was mostly just self contained cliques of people I'd interact with, but now everyone on Twitter shares and sees everyone else's stuff and so many people use these services just to voice dumb, spiteful or cruel opinions and I get very angry.

That's why I like places like this. As much as I know sometimes I can be cantankerous, everyone here is generally very kind, thoughtful and forgiving. I also think people here just genuinely want to have a good time and not start shit which is unlike other parts of the internet.

Anyway, basically I just wanted to say thank you for being all very cool, fun people and I like talking about media with all of you.

 

It's a super fun interesting battle system! I really loved how the mixed in card building with RPG elements. It felt very special at the time and I hope for someone new that you'll enjoy it!

Are any of the other games ones you would suggest?

 

It's incredibly unique because it's got this very interesting way of doing combos when you draw and play cards for offense and defense. I'm sad the bad dub is gone, but the art and world are really cool as well!

Do you play a lot of card games?

 

ive only ever played digimon, pokemon and yugioh

I finished Miles Morales and 100%’d it. The graphics are a lot better than Spider-Man…but I think I like it better than this. I know it’s a hot take, but Spider-Man had a bigger story and more to do. The Last of Us 2 is downloading now…

 

I just love the difference in price here.

 

Definitely also recommend Sophie. No time limits there or in the sequel, which is the newest Atelier game (until Ryza 3 comes out next month).
