I completely disagree with this. I like this guy, but it's not that important. It might be the most important Halo game to revitalize the series, but not for the Xbox brand.

I'm glad they're keeping the blue for the ps5 cases.

 

I think there's a good argument to be made that Halo Infinite is as important as Parris says it is. Microsoft is coming off of a generation where they were just completely embarrassed, the Halo series itself has completely lost its strength, and Microsoft needs to prove that they will have top-tier first-party exclusives for the console right out of the gate. If Infinite winds up being another Halo 5, that is going to really hurt them.

 

But the other side to that is they have to prove they have more than Halo, a game that people have been dissatisfied with for a few entries now. They've touted buying all these studios and such and they have to prove it was worth it. They need new first party IPs and show the future of Xbox, not hold onto the past and try to reclaim some of their former Glory days.

 

Finally, a good JRPG.
