Not really, like light cosmetic damage at most. Like you could hit a wall going 90, hit reverse, and go on driving like nothing happened.

Gt 7 does have some cosmetic damage nothing crazy but it’s there. If you hit a car infront of you hard enough the spot where you hit will slightly deform also your bumper will be all scratched up and the paint will be gone.

Vampire Survivors is absolutely GOTY. I've been playing nonstop since it came out.

Final fantasy tactics basically

 

I’ve been wondering what tactics games are, what sets them apart from the standard RPG, when did tactics become a thing? What is it? I just know the name and that’s it

 

The way I tend to differentiate them is like this.

Picture a castle.

In a regular RPG, you would move around the castle, and either encounter enemies in real-time or randomly, and then fight them on a combat screen.

In a tactical RPG, the castle is the combat screen. You move each of your characters individually around the area, usually represented in a grid-like formation, where they can only move up to a certain distance on the grid. You fight enemies by moving your characters so that the enemies are within range of the attack you want to use. Then you make your decision.

GT7, despite the issues, is a fun game. It’s a love letter to the car and auto racing. It’s nice to listen to listen to podcasts listening and remember the late nights listening to the radio playing the PS2 games, lotta Loveline in those days.

Unless the pixel art is outstanding, I think most games that use pixel art are bland and sometimes even ugly and think they get a pass because they're using pixel art to add to the charm.
