I mean, in one you're restoring the town's community center, and in the other you destroy the community center and replace it with a big corporation, it seems self-explanatory. but that's the beauty of Stardew, you can play however you want

 

I flat out hate how GT7 make you hold its hand and unlock each mode one by one via tutorial. The un-skippable opening movie is ridiculous too.

Oh man, it's brutal. I legitimately thought maybe Kojima worked on the opening based on its length.

 

Also, I've said it a thousand times: unskippable cutscenes are criminal and you should be ashamed if you put them in your game

 

There should’ve been an option in GT7 to let you skip the beginner/“This is how you Gran Turismo” hand holding and just jump right into the game. Like let’s be real, Sony, most of the people buying this are old people like me who grew up with them, I know what to do so let me go do it.

 

The other gripe I have is that there’s still no mechanical damage in the game which is crazy. That would be the one thing that would really enhance the realism they’re aiming for and it would add some actual stakes in a race.

 

GT has real cars, right?

 

Yeah, pretty sure this is less Sony's fault and more the fault of manufacturers that don't want to show off how badly their cars can get wrecked.

Edit: I may have to retract this statement. I could swear I read once that this was the reason, but I haven't followed the series for a long time. I see GT5 and later has body damage so I guess things changed at some point?

 

I spoke too soon about GOTY. Just found out Vampire Survivors is available on macbook and has full controller support, I will probably play this all day today lmao.

 

anyone know how to fix audio lag/response? when im playing/watching video on my series x the dolby Atmos sound bar lags a little bit, which isn't THAT noticeable, but it is enough. I don't have issues with it when im using an app on my tv, just the xbox.

(currently connected through the eARC hdmi port)

 

I mean, I've legitimately never touched a GT game before. This just looked gorgeous and interesting.

But all games should ALWAYS have an option to skip tutorial stuff.

Like maybe they can show a certain amount of damage, but not like... totally accurate wreckage.

 

Yeah so the line moved from no damage to no Burnout-like wrecks. I’m 90% sure it is not a myth.

 

That statement was me more asking if both of you are right since you both gave fairly different answers. But that makes sense then that they'd be okay with cosmetic damage but not total disentegration.

So does Gran Turismo not have damage at all? I could swear I was reading that they did.
