I hope as many people come out of this okay as can reasonably be expected. I can't even imagine what it's like for them.

 

Player's Log: Psycho-Pass, 100% complete.

From what I could tell, the other character's plotline is as I expected; the same but from his unique perspective. One day I'll go back and watch the scenes I've unlocked just to watch the differences, but for now I'm done with the game.

Next up: Transference. I don't know why I keep buying horror games seeing as how I hate being scared.

Player's Log: Transference, 100%.

Even using a walkthrough, it was way shorter than I was expecting, but that's all to the good because it was freaking the hell out of me.

I guess the premise is that you're in a virtual world that has gone wrong and you have to solve puzzles to "unwrong" it. It didn't resort to cheap jump scares or monsters, but it did have a very creepy and tense atmosphere between the soundtrack, lighting, and weird noises and audio/video logs. Plus virtual people had a tendency to appear when I didn't expect it.

Anyway, finished. Done. On to the next one. SPIN THAT WHEEL!

Huh. So I decided that if I ended up with an entry of a series, I'd opt to do whatever the first game I haven't played in that series is, for continuity purposes.

And so the result is the remake of Lesiure Suit Larry In The Land Of The Lounge Lizards. I've actually never played any of the Larry games, despite being a huge point and click fan.

 

Transference has a VR mode, looks super cool.

 

Yeah, I think it was originally intended for VR. I could definitely see that.

I could also definitely see me having a heart attack if I played it (or any horror game) in VR.

 

I played Alien: Isolation in VR once never again thank you very much

 

Been excited for Triangle Strategy for months, reviews are strong, but they aren’t adding to my excitement much. Anyone else planning to play it?

 

I started replaying Dishonored 2 and Prey.

Got Far Reach/Pull Enemies and Domino asap so I'm already having a blast with the combo, one of the reasons I prefer Emily's skillset over Corvo's. The level design is of course stellar, Addermire Institute being one of many favorite maps.

I don't remember Prey combat being this difficult early on; I had to switch to story difficulty to get anything done. It takes a bit to accumulate a good amount of neuromods for skills. Still love exploring though, even though I've finished two playthroughs before this; such a great blend of metroidvania and rpg elements

 

One of those generational games that was made for me. Been waiting a whole year!

 

Just finished up HFW, got the plat, and damn what an incredible game.

 

Shut up ugh it probably won't be on PC until 2024

I just went back to play the Dishonored series and am currently halfway through the second. Both are absolutely incredible. I went with Corvo but will def need to go back to play as Emily as well.
