Here’s an actual complaint from me that I’m sure someone will be like “you’re nitpicking”

There’s a lot of enemies that are pretty much carbon copies from the souls games, which is fine! But you could’ve given them new moves or something

niiiiiiiiice! I highly highly recommend running through the legendary campaign solo. It's very doable and a fun challenge without requiring you to be a PVE god. The difficulty scales with how many fireteam members you have so having 3 doing the campaign was more difficult than doing it solo imo

 

honestly it's easier solo, playing with teammates gives all enemies more HP, even the weakest ones

 

I am up to power level 1507 and the loot climb has slowed down considerably so I might be ready to try the legendary campaign

 

The Legendary Campaign missions are power capped. You can see what the cap is when you select one. They purposely restrict you so that you're about 15 levels below the content at all times. So if the power cap for the mission is 1370, even if you're at 1500 you will still only be as powerful as if you were 1370. It's why a lot of people just jumped right into the Legendary Campaign from the start. You also get showered with a ton of blue items that you can use to level up during it. My character was getting 1500 power drops before I finished it. And then as a reward for beating it on Legendary you get a full set of 1520 gear.

 

I should’ve just done it but it probably would’ve rocked me, I definitely struggled big time at three different points in the regular campaign, one being the final fight but that was actually easier than two of the other points I got stuck at for over an hour but I can’t even remember them anymore haha. One had two giant tanks beneath the pyramid on Europa I think

 

One thing I will say is that, as a new player, you may not have access to the kinds of weapons that will make the Legendary Campaign doable. I had to rely on some specific Exotic weapons, and some specific Legendary weapons that aren't even earnable anymore, to get through it as quickly as I did.

Definitely give it a try but if it gets too frustrating then I would just do it later on when you have better weapons if you decide you still want to.

 

I’ve loved the katana and scythe in dark souls so I’m hoping those can be useful weapons I have in elden ring

 

any reviews that said this was the easiest FromSoft game, I want you to personally know that they were lying

I’m getting real antsy but still probably need to hold off til after the weekend at the least but I really should wait til I get next weeks paycheck

 

It wasn't just a bunch of reviews that said Elden Ring was the most accessible, Miyazaki himself also said it.

Accessible doesn’t mean easy
