I've been doing a good job not thinking of Elden Ring while it's been far away but now it's almost here I am getting hyyyyyped.

Can't wait to die.

 

I can barely contain myself today.

 

I wish I could join the Elden Ring hype but I really couldn't get into Dark Souls when I tried it and I also have a hard time getting into single player games that don't really have a story unless the gameplay is extremely fun so I don't think it's for me

 

I remember importing the Chinese version of Demon's Souls when there was no publishing plans for the west yet. Wild, wild times.

PS5 & Xbox Series X performance mode between 45 and 60, PS5 on average higher framerate
Fidelity mode between 30 and 60

PC version has frequent stutters and slowdowns when first encountering stuff but evens out eventually, huge drops when loading in new areas (none of these are an issue on console)
no ultrawide support, no support for higher than 60fps.

best bet for a locked 60: PS4 version on PS5. You sacrifice some grass density and resolution but gain almost locked 60.

tl;dr: every version kinda sucks technically
