As soon as I can find a Series X in stores I’ll be joining the team. Really wish I could have grabbed one of the Halo Infinite editions. That console looks so good.

I know a lot of people who have found them on Facebook marketplace. Just subscribe to one that’s local to you and keep an eye out. For the most part, people are really good about not overcharging and you can haggle it.

I know someone who recently got an OLED Switch w/ Metroid for the same price as the Switch alone.

Not sure yet. They've just said to expect a playlist update next week with the BP fix.

 

I was lucky enough to get a Switch OLED on fb marketplace for only $50 more than the MSRP price the same day it launched. Unfortunately I haven’t seen many listings near me that have a Series X for under $700

 

Just keep looking. About half are looking for double the price and have sat there for months.

 

That is what’s confusing to me. Instead of selling them at a reasonable price they’re just allowing the console to collect dust lol

Since Halo Infinite is using “seasons” it makes me wonder if they’ll be replacing maps every new season drop

 

Also glad that 343 has been pretty transparent and quick with updates.

Call of Duty has been out for a bit and fans are still asking for things to be patched and fixed.

Battlefield is still largely a buggy mess.

I think the early release was definitely a good idea.

 

I mean, we don't need more people supporting CDPR

 

I can see the appeal of participating in stream chats, or watching a game on a console you don't own. Personally I only ever look at gameplay vids when I'm playing it and get stuck. I used to watch Dunkey a while back but that's about it.

 

I generally like to use twitch streams as my way of falling asleep to background noises.

 

After playing Tales of Arise for a while and then starting Shin Megami Tensei V I just want to say……….yes. Finally. An enjoyable JRPG.
