From what i've heard the shareholders threatening that are a very tiny fraction of the whole picture, hopefully it picks up steam universally.

 

It's only shareholders representing 0.6% of the total outstanding shares. Nothing to see there without more.

idk if I can ever play HS or OW again and not feel icky without something drastically changing at Blizzard. But I'm assuming there's a lot of people who are still actively playing their games and/or don't care what's going on. Probably stoked that the SJWs are upset.

If you look at the tweets when they make the announcements it tells you what medium it will be available on. For example:

I’m assuming since there will no more BC announcements it will be focused on the Cloud.

I was thinking about this earlier today.

First, I want to make clear I have no intention or desire at the moment to purchase any games from the companies we've been discussing in regards to this issue.

That being said, I'm curious about a point here. It's true, workers get fired for whatever, but I wonder if bad game sales do also contribute to worker turnover? Like if a game tanks, who gets blamed for it? Does a company put two and two together and say "this game failed because we're a bad company" or do they say "this game failed, get us some different people to make the next one"?

On a different note, a game is made by lots of individuals who put hard work into making it. So how do they feel about people choosing not to experience their work?

I'm trying to think about this from a multifaceted viewpoint where I want to support the people who are being hurt and not inadvertently contribute to their hurt or hurt them further. I don't know what the best route is to go about that. How do you put pressure on a company without putting pressure on the people you support?

Or, as seems to be the tack in that post, is the best option to just salt the earth and let God sort out the aftermath?

There has to be a way to hold specific people in a company accountable without holding the whole company accountable.

I dunno, am I being dumb?
