I’m trying to remember the last game I played that was linear and not open world

 

I still wish more games were linear

Ive tried to play final fantasy’s before. they’re cool but definitely not for me.

 

I'd say pretty far? I've gotten around half of all the bees, maybe a little less, and I've unlocked a good amount of levels. There's just so much to do from finding hidden tonics to getting all the coins in each level.

I'm not very good at platformers so it's going to take me a bit longer than other genres.

 

theres a bunch of hours long YouTube videos out there about the MGS series lol esp on MGS2

I just randomly came across one called “Metal Gear Solid 4 Was A Mistake”

 

think I’m about the same. there is so much to collect! I’m really only focusing on coins because of the ‘paywalls’ which made me laugh.

I think I’m okay at platformers but this has been difficult for some reason. I can’t get the physics down but I do love the game.

 

It's why I don't play many games anymore. I don't really like open world games.

I caught up on the EA Play thing and some looks good, but Rocket Arena is the most generic thing I've seen in a while.

 

Jeff from giant bomb said he played it and it’s worse than what it originally spawned out of it

He said the rocket fighting is slow for a shooter

 

You guys do know that you can just mainline the majority of open world games and that that makes them linear

 

You've still got to traverse giant open, bland areas that takes ages, that's the issue. Plus usually even the main missions are like "go here, then go there, then come back to me". They just get exhausting.

 

I’m watching skate videos like every week with my friends and I just need to play the skate games already
