I need to get on Fortnite but I’m knee deep in Alan Wake 2. Hopefully soon.

Player's Log: Trails To Azure.

I'm in the last day of Chapter 3, and I love how Rixia's just been exposed as Yin and her response is to say "Oh no, I have to go practice for the show tomorrow!" and dip out.

 

And now I've finished Chapter 3, which feels like a good place to stop for tonight.

The way I see it, if I play my cards right, I can get through Chapter 4 this week, maybe even the Fragments chapter too, which would leave me with the Final Chapter over next weekend.

The only thing I'm not sure of is if I'll jump right into a second run or if I'll start on Endless Trails. There's pros and cons to both. On the one hand, it'd be a breather and refreshing to play something different. On the other hand, there's something to be said for continuing this while it's fresh in my mind.

We'll see!

 

Ooohhhhh Yakuza 6 is basically the Kiwami 2 engine/mechanics. Fuckkkkkkk yeah

 

I love story-driven games but I never played Alan Wake (it was an Xbox exclusive for years right?), I really need to get on that. What games is it comparable to?

 

Finally recruited Amelia. I knew it was a thing but I wanted to happen upon it organically so I never looked up which system it was in. Place was a bit buggy, everyone randomly turned hostile a couple times. Glad to have her aboard tho

 

Still having fun popping in for a few rounds of Headbangers Rhythm Royale every few days but man do I suck at the late stage games

 

The one thing that really annoys me about 6’s fighting mechanics: there’s no heat moves for grounded enemies?!!? So dumb

 

Control or Resident Evil I guess. It’s survival horror, but extremely linear.
