I’m mad for those folks getting laid off with no benefits, that’s beyond cruel to do in this country and who knows what going through the minds of those people with families right now. I genuinely feel sorry for them.

 

Bungie projections were off 45% reportedly. Companies miss the mark by 5-10% and people pay the price for that, unfortunately.


But at fucking 45% that is solely a management issue from the tippy top and the person letting all of these people go should be the one to go instead. Leadership in the company should be eating shit. Not those who’ve worked 60 hour weeks on your predatory game.

 

Also, hindsight is 20/20 but maybe Bungie shouldn’t be leading a GAAS initiative for an entire company.

I am very proud/happy of insomniac’s success with Spider-Man 2 and hopefully that will show them that they can still make narrative driven games without resorting to complete GAAS.
