Ultimate Spider-Man is still the best SM game after the Insomniac ones

 

What I learned from that video: Bobby Kotick loves to shove IP’s down your throat. He did the same thing to Spider-Man that he is doing with CoD.

 

Activison’s Spider-Man 2 was pretty amazing. A lot of it is dated now compared to the new games, but specifically the web-based stealth arsenal of moves was better than anything else I have seen in a Spider-Man game.

 

That’s up there too! Ultimate was just really special to me as a kid because it was my favorite comic run, the game was just a blast to play and swing around in, and you got to play as Venom

 

Target sent me an ad, otherwise I never actually looked at the specs until now: graphics aside, does an XBOX Series X do anything my computer can't? I'm not interested in arguing which is better, I'm just wondering. Both have access to Gamepass, streaming service apps, and a CD/DVD/Bluray player. Get an HDMI cable to a nice big TV, wouldn't a high-end gaming pc be practically the same thing as a console?

Player's Log: Trails To Azure

Finished Chapter 2, now on the Intermission Chapter, and oh man BEACH EPISODE.

Even got the classic trope of featuring every single major female NPC for the sole purpose of BEACH EPISODE.

Anyway, I've noticed that since I completed all the bonding events in Trails From Zero, that there have been scenes in the game that have directly referenced all three bonding scenes, which I think is really cool and makes me feel validated in having taken the time to complete them all.

Maybe I will go for all the achievements in this game after all, although I don't know if the save from this game impacts any future titles. I know once I beat this that I won't see the SSS again until Cold Steel III, I believe. We'll see what happens!

Also, because when I played Trails In The Sky I gave up on the voice acting relatively quickly, I'm realizing this is the first time I've ever heard Olivert's voice, and man, he is way deeper than I thought he'd be. His serious voice is pretty good too.
