Based on those tweets, it doesn’t sound like it’s about an executive hiring decision. It sounds more like the closure of “traditional” Sony developers/studios, which wouldn’t surprise me, because Sony has been shutting down smaller studios left and right lately. They’re clearly in a reorganisation process.
