Like 90% of this forum is finding things elsewhere and bringing it here to dunk on. Otherwise, what else are we gonna do? Talk to each other? Can you imagine?

 

I mean, the point wasn't to post the hateful shit. It was to use it as a springboard to talk about something great about the game. Granted, one didn't necessarily require the other, but I think it's disingenuous to look at one part of Nate's post without looking at the other.

Like I said, if it triggers anyone I will take it down. My intent was to point out how thoughtful and inclusive the developers were but there will always be rotten eggs in the bunch aka the internet literally being the internet.

Player's Log: Trails From Zero.

I fuckin' did it. 100% achievements.

So what have I learned for future games? Well, I need to manage my runs better. With this run, because I was going for completion under or equal to level 40 but also trying to get every treasure chest, I was faced with a conundrum. See, getting every treasure chest requires that bonus dungeon from NG+, which is designed to take you to level 50.

To solve this, I saved before the bonus dungeon, completed it and got to the final chest in the game in the last dungeon and got that achievement. Then I reloaded my save before the bonus dungeon, and skipped it and went on to the rest of the game while fleeing from every encounter I could. I just made it at level 40.

If I had planned better and paid better attention during my first two runs, I probably wouldn't have been in that position.

So what's next? Trails To Azure.

I think for my initial run I'm just going to have a good time and try to get whatever story and simple collectible achievements I can, knowing that I'm probably going to have to do a second run for the chests and bestiary, just like with Zero. And then for the second run worry about more extravagant achievements.

I am sort of worried about bonding achievements though. In Zero I only had three other party members so that's why I only had to do three runs, but in Azure, I get more party members to bond with and I think I can also bond with NPCs? It's a little confusing. Am I going to have to do a run per character?

I may have to eventually give up on the idea of getting every achievement if I'm going to keep my sanity, enjoy these games, and be able to finish the series. Who knows, this might be the one to break me.

Anyway, onward and upward, I guess.

 

I haven’t touched anything on the side mission part besides maybe like the prowler stash and the BV school stuff and then I checked and I’m like 60% done with the main story crazy.

 

I’m at 85% on the main story

 

I’m hoping to finish up the game tomorrow

Player's Log: Trails To Azure.

Finished the prologue.

Chief asked if I'm ready for the boatload of requests he's gonna send me. I sure am, Chief, I reply to my monitor with a tear in my eye.

But for realsies, I'm already pumped. I'm only starting this thing and we've already got new recruits to the team, a guest appearance by my other favorite Sky protagonist couple, Wazy putting the moves on Lloyd and making Elie jealous, and a kickass intro cinematic that confirms Ouroboros is back, baby!

Can someone pause time so I can just keep playing this series and not have to work in the morning?

 

Just finished the Coney Island bit in Spiderman. These characters have no chemistry whatsoever, haha.

 

It cracks me up how often Peter refers to Harry as his best friend to everyone he encounters
