One of my favorite gaming memories is Gold Starring Colony of Birchmen for the first time in RB2 on expert, it was technically a Devil-Tier song but the drum roll and kick patterns were very easy, but incredibly satisfying to play.

Ditto on passing Panic Attack and Pain Killer for the first time as well.

I'm still upset I could never pass Before I Forget in GH3, something about that song destroys me.

 

Gotta love it when psn goes down and only effects a handful of games. Currently madden, nhl, mlb the show, and cod can’t be played online. Yet nba 2k 24 and gran turismo 7 work fine

Pretty sure I’ve seen that the story length will be similar to the first game.

 

Being able to choose where you start on the starting grid in Forza Motorsport is a cool choice.

I'm actually into the 3 practice laps thing too which sounded really annoying on paper.

Yeah I wasn’t thrilled about the practice thing but after a few races, I grew to really appreciate it. Especially after upgrading a car before a race and getting a feel for it.

my dad is retiring at the end of the year and his first pet project to undertake is to build a racing sim rig. we went to micro center and tried out their display one to make sure it’s something he’ll actually enjoy and man it’s gonna be so fucking sick. he’s gotta wait til he’s done with work because it’s gonna go in his now home office but I’m pumped

 

Lords of the Fallen getting slightly above mid reviews. Meh. I had a gut feeling it would be around that after watching a good amount of gameplay
