It’s essentially a rebranding and revision of the first game. Like Suicide Squad and THE Suicide Squad. This one looks great.

 

The other one looked great too, but the problem with it was (and with most Soulslikes not made by From) is that the gameplay was not quite tight enough all the way through considering the type of game it is

I tried LOTF, Nioh 1 and The Surge. Everytime I wished I was playing Bloodborne, DS3 or Elden Ring instead. I should try Code Vein though.

I felt the same while playing Days Gone, the whole time I was like : why am I not playing TLOU 2 ?

Cocoon is a lot of fun. Puzzles at least in the first part of the game I've played are a bit on the easy side in that often there is only one or two things you can really do but at the same time they are all very clever so you feel smart doing them.

Definitely appears on the short side -- played an hour or two last night and progress seems to indicate I'm already 33% of the way through, but Limbo and Inside were like that too and honestly 4-5 hours that leave you wanting more are better than 10 hours that overstay their welcome.

Definitely give it a try on Gamepass and still probably worth getting if you like puzzly games or have enjoyed Jeppe Carlsen's other stuff
