Finished at the start of The Finale in TiTS SC last night. That was definitely some PSP era FMVs lol.

While I DID get spoiled on the Olivier reveal due to wiki'ing him like a year ago for some other info seeing it play out was hilarious.

Agate: "You have got to be FUCKING kidding me" was literally laugh out loud worthy. I dropped the Vita in my lap and chuckled.

Now I just need more sepith. Threw Kloe in my party and hadn't upgraded hers in a WHILE. If this end is anything like FC I'm gonna want heals heals heals. Which makes me think I want Kloe and Kevin as my 2 other party members. Or Olivier and Kevin. Hmm. Also as a plot device I think I'll end up fighting the Enforcers like in the towers so that may be a thing where I'll have to use select characters again. Just....please no Tita. Please. No.

I started Resident Evil Revelations as my game-without-the-wife. I had low expectations, since it’s a port of a DS game and I just started it for the story, but this is actually pretty good. Switching between Chris, Jill, and this Parker dude is a cool mechanic. The story throws some pretty wild exposition at you lol.

  10. Is that the one on the ship? I really liked that one. Never finished Revelations 2 tho

Revelations 1 and 2 often get swept under the rug unfairly in my opinion. I think they are very good. The first one (which on consoles is adapted from the original 3DS version so it might have weird control issues) was a fun way of having old school stuff like exploring one location like the Mansion or the Police Station, but this time with a ship, while also venturing outside of that by allowing you to play multiple characters perspectives to get kind of an adventurous feel to it.

I personally really like Revelations 2, there's some camp to it, but I liked the episodic nature of it when it releases and it has a ton of great co-op stuff. One character plays as Claire and the other one plays as Moira and Moira doesn't use a gun so you have to assist in other ways like with a flashlight and a crowbar. The bonus multiplayer stuff like the Raid mode. It's really well fleshed out. Here's the wiki entry on it:

"About 200 missions and 15 characters are featured, which span the entire game series, and there are also new scenarios and enemies from Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil 6 and Resident Evil: Revelations. In this mode, players can customize their skills and weapons, as well as buy new ones. Some enemies in Raid Mode have special abilities like extra speed or strength. This mode can be played either solo, online or through split-screen local co-op."

It was a really cool addition and offered tons of replayability.

Player's Log: Trails In the Sky the 3rd

I'm almost done with the game. In the final chapter and doing the last Star Doors to get that achievement.

Got all the other achievements too, including the ones for winning 300 battles without fleeing and the one for fleeing 300 battles. I basically did the first one fair and square, then reloaded a save and used my trainer to fudge the numbers on my flee total so I could unlock the other achievement.

I'll say this: I thought Kevin's backstory was dark, and then I did the vignette about Renne's backstory, and it's so absolutely nauseating it angers me. Give that girl all the hugs.

One of my recent obsessions in Cyberpunk is hacking cars to run over enemies, it’s always satisfying.

We're gonna be finishing our respective games around the same time LOL. Was TC that short or did you use the trainer?

Both. It is a short game in comparison, although I misjudged how long the later chapters and vignettes are, but of course using the trainer meant I was flying through combat, literally decimating everyone with S-Crafts immediately.

I mean, really more than half the playtime in an RPG is combat, and that has never, ever been what attracts me to the genre, so if I can find a way to excise it, I'll go for it.

BTW, finished the 3rd. 100% achievements. Time to start solving this Crossbell problem.

The last scene with Estelle, Joshua, and Renne was so, so touching, I am that meme from I Think You Should Leave right now.

Damn that was fast lol. I'm still enjoying the city in the sky. Yeah these early ass PSP games, the combat is definitely not my favorite thing about them. Too bad there's not really any hacks I can use to speed through it. But I'm equipping the main 2 with so much gear they're cleaning though what mobs I do come across. TC next for me, you gonna hop into Cold Steel afterwards?

Yeah, that's the plan. First the Crossbell games, then Cold Steel.

Does PC have a trainer for all the games? That's be cool. I'm SURE the battles get better as we get in more advanced systems and off the PSP engine. I've got the Crossbell on the Switch, and when I finish those I'll return back to the Vita for Cold Steel 1 and 2. Depending on WHEN I finish those I may do 3 and 4 on the Switch or if reviews are good I'll try the PS5 ports.

But this is gonna take a while lol. Between normal gaming I'll be doing FFXIV, FF7R, Genshin, Assassins Creed is soon too. Oh yeah and once I escape the black hole that is BG3.....I'll get to Trails eventually one day lol.

Are you planning on playing The Legend of Nayuta: Boundless Trails? While it seems kinda standalone I've seen people say it 100% ties into CS3 or 4 and Reverie sooooo add another to my backlog!

I didn't know Boundless tied into Cold Steel. I'll have to look into that. I do want to play that, but I don't own it (or Reverie) yet, so I might have to change that once I get to CS3, if that's truly a thing.

And yes, there is a person who has made a trainer for every Trails game on Steam and keeps them updated. You do have to give money to his Patreon to access them, but he offers multiple tiers (I think one is even just a dollar) and he does a lot more trainers than just the Trails series, so it was worth it to me.

Hell yeah that sounds like it's worth it.

Regarding Boundless, I don't know how important the connection is as it hasn't sounded like it's anything major but everything I've seen around the net has been heavily redacted in spoiler text haha but I did see that it wasn't until whichever CS game (or Reverie) that it was confirmed they were connected. How? I dunno. How important? Don't know that either. I just read it's SOMEHOW connected.
