Unlocking???

 

I miss unlocking characters like in Melee

 

I’d rather unlock characters from story mode or achievements than buying them. It made smash more fun.

 

This trailer from yesterday is certainly a head scratcher.

 

Watched some gameplay for the new Assassin's Creed, and I think I'm actually excited to play it. I prefer the older style, and that seems to be what they're going for here. The newer games are just way too big and overwhelming. Give me an interesting story with tight gameplay and I'm all about it.

I’m on like chapter 7 on Guardians of the Galaxy and still no complaints. I kinda figured out what combos work and don’t. I don’t super love the shooting but it hasn’t been that much of a bother.

 

Listened to Kinda Funny’s Spider-Man 2 impressions and I’m very excited to get it to even after just finishing 2018. Wish it would come sooner tbh.

 

I usually tend to agree with you, but I also love the older style more. I’ve played them all but the newer ones never truly clicked with me. So I hope this one is better than just mid lol

 

Idk, I’m old enough to remember that AC switched up their formula because they put out the same game like 8 times over the course of 8 years and this just looks like a return to the same formula that already got extremely tired before

 

Oh no I totally get it. It just never got tired for me and the new ones never clicked with me as much as I tried. So I’m glad they’re sort of branching out by making both types of games so everybody gets what they want. Whether it actually turns out to be good or not is what I worry about.

 

I love Odyssey and think it's probably one of the best Assassins Creed games but I'm incredibly glad they're going back to the original formula.

 

Yeah I like that they’re still gonna do big RPG games but with how much I had to put up with Valhalla haters (my favorite in the series) I’m making my thoughts known on this haha. Although I’m definitely open to it actually being a good game I will gladly eat my words if I have to.

 

I wanted to love Valhalla so much and I probably played a good majority of it before something else took my attention away, but yeah something with those three games didn’t vibe with me. I definitely think they got better with each release though. So I’ll probably still try out whatever is next in that line

 

Valhalla was just not very good. It had way too much bloat when all the best stuff was later in the game.

 

I’m sad because of work issues so I got gamepass for the first time since February

 

Hope some gaming can cheer you up! Lies of P hits gamepass on Tuesday if you’re looking forward to that at all

 

That’s mainly why I got it! Bethesda games aren’t my cup of tea, but going into it with an open mind
