First Bloodborne clone and it’s getting good reviews let’s goooo

I am only nearing Act 3 in BG3 and still need to go back and finish Sea of Stars and maybe AC6. Plus still haven't started Eternights lol.

 

Bloodborne was my favorite even though I’m god awful at soulslike games. So seeing people call it a spiritual successor has me stoked

Morbidly curious to try Lies of P on Gamepass even though it's a soulsborne and will probably be way too difficult and frustrating for me

 

I'm going to try to finally play the Lies of P demo. If I like it I may try to fit that in before Spider-Man 2 gets released.

 

Doesn't help they have insane sales expectations that literally none of their games can hit.

 

let Square go under and sell the final fantasy IP to capcom

 

It essentially just comes down to 16 didn’t sell enough to makeup for how poorly Avengers and Forspoken did. 16 is incredible but just didn’t meet that expectation to cover Squares ass for numerous failures.

 

And give octopath to, idk, Bandai Namco. Dragon quest to sega. Spread the love around Japan and see what happens why not

 

I’m not sure how much Square spends on mobile titles but it seems like they have a new one every month and most of them don’t last very long.

I hate how all of these articles headlines make it seem like FF16 is a failure when in reality it’s all the other games Square put out that had insane budgets and flopped.

 

I know they probably aren’t serious but what the HELL

 

The FF ones have all been around for a while at this point. Brave Exvius has been scamming people since 2015, Record Keeper was around from like 2014~2022 (when they shut down the Global version, it still exists in JP), Dissidia Opera Omnia has it's 6th (I think?) anniversary for Global in January, BE War of the Visions is like 2 years old these days I think? Mobius is the only one I can think of that they've completely shuttered but that game was doing baaaaaad and was fully 3D. I think most of these games still make decent revenue too?

Not sure about the rest of their mobile IP though.

 

I still like Square Enix and would like them to continue making games. At least until we get a Threads Of Fate remake.

and I'm supposed to jump through the Unity and undo all that? I guess the answer to that is "no," since everyone's allowed to play the game however they want. I guess my disappointment regarding NG+ isn't with the game itself, but with the hype around it, everyone saying I should rush the main story. I feel like I should've been doing side quests organically this entire time instead. But oh well, I'm rambling. I'm really enjoying the game! That's all that matters.
