I got need for speed unbound on sale and I love the art direction but the overall presentation with the music and voice acting is so corny but I’m also way older than the demographic they’re targeting here

Big Starfield spoilers do not click

smh I told you not to click anyway apparently every time you reach the unity and start over you get a suit and ship upgrades up to 6-10 times I believe? I guess I’m gonna re complete unity a few times before settling in a universe for good

Yup your ship maxes out at 6 and your armor and powers max out at 10. The universe can also be different based off of RNG, so you could land in a universe you don’t even want to be in

In random sequel news, someone is putting out a Strider-like prequel to obscure 1999 mech action title Slave Zero.

if you don’t mind me asking did you do a couple more unity’s to get those upgrades or are you just kinda settling into NG+1?

  11. Lol wtf

I’m still on NG+1 because I didn’t feel like rushing to upgrade all my powers, so I’ve been mixing it up with some side quests because the temples are my least favorite part of the game. Just so monotonous. Lol. But I did just finish collecting all the artifacts again last night, so I’ll probably push myself a little more to finish the temples and go through unity again. I got a basic new universe my first time, so I definitely want to see if I get some crazy alternate universe on top of upgrading the ship and armor

word I saw a few people saying they settled on +3 or so which is what I may do. and someone else made a very interesting point about the more you go through unity the more detached and cynical you get about the nature of the universe and start to side with the hunter and eventually just saying fuck you both to the hunter and the emissary

Yeah I probably won’t go to NG+10 personally. I don’t think there’s enough incentive. I don’t think your powers necessarily get stronger, I think the cooldown is just reduced every time you rank them up. Plus they already announced a story expansion. No reason to rush that far ahead when I have no clue what that will entail.

  16. I haven't reached the Unity yet but I just learned what it was and, from a gameplay perspective, I don't see very much incentive to even go through it, let alone do so ten times, if all the side quests are accessible on my first playthrough anyway. unless I'm missing something, NG+ is way overhyped.

I mean it’s gonna be pretty cool to see the different alternate universes you can wind up in. You do get new dialogue options when you start NG+ and the way it’s treated is like you’re playing a new game and not just restarting from scratch with a higher level. So it’s really up to you what you want to do. If NG+ doesn’t entice you, then stick with one playthrough. There’s nothing wrong with that. I find NG+ to be fairly interesting though

  18. idk, I like how in Fallout 4 in certain parts of the story it warns you that if you continue to pursue the quests of one faction another faction will become hostile to you, so with another playthrough you could join a different faction and see how that changes the story. with Starfield, I haven't seen anything equivalent to that. aside from getting stronger gear and abilities, the replay value of NG+ is purely based on chance encounters ie whether you get a cool universe or not

You’re definitely not wrong. I just personally enjoy what’s been presented and want to see other universes until I find one I want to settle down in. Getting the upgrades every NG+ is kinda an afterthought to me because I feel like I’ll just burn myself out since I hate the temple mini game lol
