I was watching the FF retrospective that was posted on here yesterday and it convinced me to try out FF2 pixel remaster again. I popped it on and I really think I have never played it, maybe I played the remaster PSP version but very little??

I dig the pixel remaster version because it has boosts for turning encounters off or multiplying the EXP you get. I think I am completely okay with the no leveling up system too.

 

lol it's consistently rated as one of the worst in the series. The person who does the SaGa games was behind it, hence the weird leveling system. Beat it once and never really had the desire to go back

It's not a surprising comparison, there are only so many FPS RPG's out there, but Cyberpunk is a deep RPG??

 

I got to about chapter 4 of the guardians of the galaxy game and it’s solid so far. I hate having to constantly pay attention in case I miss dialogue but otherwise a solid game.

 

Yeah needing to pay attention succkksss, that's why I never have tried those Ace Attorney games i'd be so fucking bad at them

What’s the best Tales Of game? I played Symphonia back in the day and Arise came out in 2021. Any others worth checking out?

 

I mean, I think they're all worthy of a play, but you can't go wrong with the classic Tales Of Phantasia.

 

I’ve only played a few hours but vesperia is great so far
