The only casino related stuff in a game I've ever done is scour the casino floor for coins in Pokemon Red lol

I guess you can spend hours upon hours in the casino in DQ11 but I don't have time for that in an already 70+ hour game

 

Casinos delay me finishing Yakuza games so much

 

I really hope this comes to the US. Remake of Retro Game Challenge 1 and 2 from the DS.

As hard as it'll be, I am not touching starfield until I'm done with BG3 and Phantom liberty, so I don't think I'll be on it for a while. I'm not losing steam per se, but I am moving slower on BG3, so it may be a while. Combats getting harder, battles are taking longer, less time to play lately, and more time mulling over some of the bigger decisions that are coming up.

I don't know anything about armored core, but seeing the hype and am interested in that too but maybe it'll end up not being a game for me so I'll wait a bit.

Personally though, I can't recall the last time that in a months span I had 3 AAA games that I was interested in playing at launch.

let's just say that after coming off of BG3 I am finding Starfield uniquely awful. Just a struggle to even boot it up.

I am still keeping at it because supposedly the beginning is rough but oof. I've literally seen planets on the Critical Path that make No Man's Sky look like a next-gen tech demo.

I look fucking cool though, like a space version of Modern Warfare's ghost

 

fuck this game just gave me another mommy to disappoint

Not sure if anyone will know, but is there any time expectation for when Jedi: Survivor will end up on EA Play?

No idea how long it usually takes, but given the PS5 version has now been patched, I think I'm ready to pick it up. Reluctant to spend £30+ on it if it'll be free in a couple of months though.

Starfield is Bethesda-ass Bethesda game and I like those games so I like Starfield.

have you dl’d the dlss and fg mods? apparently those will help you alot. i forget - you run a 3080?

 

yes, a 3080 with a 5800x3D, so sadly no FG for me but you bet your ass I am running it with DLSS. capped at 60fps and about 70% render scale. It's a fucking nightmare but my trusty PC is plowing through it rather consistently so it doesn't detract from the enjoyment per se, just no where justified in terms of the visuals being offered.

(also don't get me started on the CPU utilization)

 

Finally giving the people what they want

 

This came out a few minutes ago and looks interesting.

 

I'm worried how this will run on mine. I have a gaming laptop that runs extremely hot, and I even got a 'fan pad' for underneath but it's so bad that a lot of my keys have stopped working. I googled a keyboard issue and it's apparently a common problem where the excessive heat interacts with the adhesive on the keys and causes issues with them working. I also popped a few off and broke them in the process so of course I now think that'll it be out of warranty. I'm going to just a buy a separate keyboard at this point but Q, R and D all either stopped working or don't work. I can't even play counterstrike anymore as I can't reload! Thank goodness BG3 doesn't rely on those keys (click to move, central mouse button to rotate).

It was fun (for a while) to yell out that my D was broken during online gameplay.

 

"My D is broken... also my keyboard doesn't work."

Like that, right?
