So let me tell you all about the worst achievement in the world right now, and it's this achievement called Ramblin' Gambler. It requires three things.

One is to collect all the chapters of a novel throughout the game, which fine, that was a thing in the last one and it's not that big of a deal.

The other two involve the new casino games available. One is to get a 21 in blackjack. Again, not a big deal.

The other is to get a four-of-a-kind in poker. I've gotten more three-of-a-kinds and full houses than I can stand, and I want to find whoever decided this achievement was a good idea and teach them the error of their ways.

Last night I played three hours of Sea of Stars. I completed the Trial of the Mist (or whatever it was called, I was stoned). I really enjoyed the combat which felt nostalgic yet fresh. The OST has been a real treat and it’s so pretty.

About to jump back in.

 

I will say the ant bruisers are annoying as fuck!!! Stop summoning please!!!

Warring nations with people that turn into Kaijus, which are passed down through royal or other bloodlines, and the protagonist is secretly one of them and doesn’t find out until later… this Attack on Titan game is awesome.

Whoops, I mean Final Fantasy XVI.

 

Casino portions in games? New Vegas with maxed luck?

 

I loved playing Roulette in Phantasy Star Universe.

 

I've finished 9 of the 10 Trails games and I don't think I gambled one time lol.

 

I wouldn't normally, but achievement.

 

My first playthrough of New Vegas before I could max out one of the casinos I accidentally killed one of the White Glove Society and had the whole place turn hostile. I say "accidentally" because at the time I didn't know they were eating people haha

 

I know everyone said “ragnarok isn’t just a glorified DLC for god of war 2018” and I knew it was probably true but I had some doubts in the back of my head and yeah after ten hours (I replayed the first 10 or so hours of 2018 earlier this year as well) this is a pretty big level up as far as direct sequels go. Not quite the caliber of tears of the kingdom but def in that same realm. just a much tighter game with absolutely stunning environment and level design

 

Very similar to the jump from the original ps2 god of war 1 and 2 actually now that I think about it

 

Casinos are the best parts of games
