Finally finished Ghostwire Tokyo after putting it aside for a couple months. All that was left was a couple of long cutscenes and a boss fight that wasn't that difficult (I played the whole game on Easy). Pretty good ending to a pretty good game.

I noticed I beat Ghostwire Tokyo and Gotham Knights in a little under 40hrs each, though I'm sure you can cut it down to a third of that if you skip all the side stuff. I think I want to do something shorter and more straightforward on Gamepass before Starfield drops. Maybe I should give The Evil Within another shot? Also by Tango Gameworks

 

i just rolled credits on baldurs gate 3 so like how do i NOT buy starfield early access as a treat

 

I'm playing Galaga tonight and having the time of my life. Loved playing this in the arcades as a kid

Didn't even make it to the end of the prologue before decided I'm too impatient to wait for the voice clips to finish. I mean, if I do this for the whole game, I won't finish it for a month. I don't have time for that.

Anyway, I did finish the prologue though. Excited for the next chapter. I chose Schera because girl power.

That's from MetroUK who legitimately committed one of the most blatant acts of bias against Xbox I've ever seen when they reviewed HiFi Rush, gave it a 4 out of 5, but then stated they couldn't give it higher because of the lack of Xbox games in 2022. Which... is a set of criteria I've never heard anyone use, let alone see it outright stated in a review. So apparently, if it was released on Switch or Playstation, it'd be a 4.5 or a 5. lol

 

The writer behind several mystery games, including every title by Xing (Hotel Dusk, Another Code, Last Window), is working on a new game.

I have to admit, the title and the premise have me feeling slightly (very) uncomfortable, but I'm willing and interested to find out more as Xing's games were great and their closure was a huge loss.

RE: Starfield

i watched some user reviews with a bunch of gameplay last night and my hype is fully restored. i can even see why what the game did with exploration is preferable to the alternative - and it seems like actually you can use the planet exploration as an infinite dungeon generator. that may come in handy especially years in.

 

I had a great time last night, i’ve got a half day today at work i’m gonna play all damn day mfs

 

I'm downloading it as we speak

 

I was only able to put in a few hours last night, thanks to a migraine, but Starfield is exactly what I wanted and I’m enjoying the hell out of it so far
