Returnal: Me: I have finally cleared act 3. I discovered that apparently I hadn't gone into the house for the sequence I needed to complete act 3 so all my previous area farming was just for fun I suppose. I'm not sure if I'm going to go for platinum for this game but I do know there's still a lot of fun left to be had so I'll probably keep at it, especially since my kids are having so much fun with it. Older Son: He is on biome 6 and I have no doubt he'll destroy the boss once he gets to it but he's had trouble getting there. He's definitely going to be better at this game than me with how fast he's progressing in comparison to how I did.

Jump King: This game is infuriating and I love it, it's very well crafted. I don't know if I can say much more than that. I've fallen a lot. I've jumped a lot. I've raged a lot. And I'm still not that much farther than where I began. It reminds me of a simpler time for games.

Elden Ring: More of a PSA than an actual log but I think I'm going to start streaming Elden Ring randomizers on Tuesdays starting on 8/15 so if anyone is bored and wants to hang out you can see me do extremely dumb things.

I'm not sure if I wanna play a video game with dice roll mechanics, or if I just wanna play tabletop DnD. I blame Vox Machina.

My friends and I were doing a Pathfinder campaign years ago, my character was gender queer, before I even came out! I embody the stereotype lolol. We stopped playing but I kept buying dice and now I have ten sets of them...

 

I mean most video games have dice role mechanics. That's the whole point of an RNG. BG is just more explicit about them

 

haven't played BG but NWN1-2 are what got me into RPGs

 

Baldur's Gate 2 is god tier.
