The only controller I've used is the Android PlayStation Backbone and it's very good.

Seconding the Backbone

 

Doesn't the Backbone have to be attached to the phone? I feel like I'd get motion sickness from moving it around too much. Anytime I used my friends' Switch I'd leave the screen on the table

That's rough. You can only game harder with a controller. Leaning forward in your chair isn't really a thing with a mouse and keyboard. You're only a real gamer if you destroy your posture. lol

 

You can connect via the port with a cable while using the backbone, so either lightning cable or USB-C depending on what you want to use it for, and you could have it resting on a table and still play. I think the company chose to have a wired connection though to decrease the latency of button input.

Finished Trails in the Sky SC this morning. Started up 3rd; not sure how to feel about it yet, only 2 hours in.

 

I have the iPhone version but don’t have a lightning to lightning port cable but this is on my iPad. Obviously not the greatest because it’s meant to be attached to the device but it works. (Bonus Maverick in the background)

I have now completed Sword and Fairy 7. Fun game with some cool boss fights. Also, it's roughly a 30 hour RPG which is a plus. These 70-100 hour RPGs are starting to wear me down. Which is not good because Starfield is releasing in a month. Help.
