This freak VaatiVidya at one point shows how he holds his controller and he uses his pointer AND middle finger for the shoulder buttons?!?!? Does anyone else do this wtffffff. I'm just pointer finger!!

That is abysmal news. Fenyx is such a good game.

 

If we consider how much Ubisoft improves games between the first and its sequel the next Fenyx would’ve easily been a GOTY contender

 

oh absolutely. I mean, given that the BOTW influence is pretty overt on Fenyx, it's easy to imagine a similar process as BOTW>TOTK in which the second Fenyx just blows the first one out of the water.

I have been waiting so long for this game and when I found this out my hype plummeted to almost nothing lol

 

There's usually no reason to be holding down, for example, R1 and R2 at the same time.

On another note, I usually use middle finger on paddles, but obviously not all controllers have them

I'm guessing most people will set their paddles to A, B, X, or Y so they don't have to switch their thumb back and forth, but for me they're set to their respective joystick buttons because I don't like the feeling of pushing down on the joysticks
