It's always funny to me when publishers or whoever wants these studios to make drastically different games that they clearly aren't used to or equipped to doing.

If the studios WANT to do it that's fine, but them going completely out of their wheelhouse and not realizing the scope of their undertaking seems to be more common now

 

Anyway why hasn't GameFreak made a Pokemon MMO yet

 

Last of Us famously shipped with excellent multi from what I hear. People wanted that just more fleshed out.

 

Yeah I wasn’t clamoring for a full on mmo experience. The first game’s multiplayer was broken at one point too because they made weapons available for in game purchase. Then you had every team rocking the bow and one shotting everyone

 

Dead Space 2’s MP was actually pretty fun but never really went anywhere

 

The Last of Us had very solid multiplayer.

Can't say I remember Dead Space 2's at all tho

 

Playing Spider-Man MM again because I never finished it but my god that first half hour is just perfect

 

Asking the important questions

 

It’s 100 percent a better game than the first in almost every aspect outside of story imo

 

fan hack poke mmo is already ten times better than anything gamefreak would come up with

 

There's been nothing good for any monster capture games

 

Gonna try cassette beasts soon because they fixed some of the glitches

 

You know what game had some fun as fuck multiplayer I spent hours upon hours playing? Assassins creed brotherhood

 

AC had some great MP

 

You guys were not kidding about the demons souls visuals. If final fantasy 16 looks half this good it’ll be the prestige video game of the generation
