I thought that was a KB Toys for a second because of all of the "toys" on the wall, but then remembered Funkos now take up most of GameStop's shelving and KB ceased operations like 15 years ago lol.

 

I have so many fond memories of going to my local mall with my family growing up and stopping at KB Toys. I'm getting wistful now just typing this.

Not everyone knows how to trade everything. Retro video games aren’t the only thing.

 

It takes like two seconds of searching and a modicum of critical thinking (stores will give you 60-70 percent value if you’re lucky) to realize it was fine I just don’t understand 50k plus likes on the OP

Fwiw I’m just doing a bit I’d take half a switch over any console new or old

 

A guy was able to bring in a bunch of un-used retro stuff and gets to go home with a TOTK OLED switch as well as like $250 remaining in store credit. Doesn’t have to deal with the time consuming nature of listing all the stuff on eBay and getting it shipped or deal with selling it to people locally and the frustrations that brings. Seems like a massive W to me.

 

I just find it funny it was GameStop. That store is literally a meme.

Very very easily, I'd take LAD over most games on console B but yeah console B selection is tremendously better

 

Yeah, like why include both Elden Ring and Zelda on the same console and think it's any kind of a contest?

And Returnal! That's what really pushes it over the top for me

Separating Elden Ring and TOTK would’ve had be thinking hard. But them together makes it easy. Especially with XC, Fire Emblem and Forza

 

And Three Houses, Xenoblade, Luigi, Psychonauts... like I guess if you don't like RPGs, it might be a tougher fight.
