Slay the Spire has an extremely unappealing art style imo

 

The art style is fine. Gameplay is fun and very addictive.

Scrolling through my Twitter feed and seeing only the first two lines of text REALLY tripped me up

I think this is also keeping me from getting it

 

The art threw me off at first, but it gets really charming and also the game is 100% worth it. One of the best games I've played in the past five years.

 

I like the art of slay the spire, especially on the cards. I haven’t been addicted to a game like this in a while, it’s making the wait for last of us go by so fast.

 

I'm worried about the storage space on the PS5 especially since the system boasts such quick load times and such.

If I get the digital and then need an external after downloading four AAA games, will my gaming experience be worse because I'm not using their custom SSD for all the other games? How fast would the transfer speed have to be?

I have heard from some people online that the PS5 was designed to allow for better compression and optimization so games won't be as big as people think going forward, but I'm very skeptical.

 

This is why modern gaming is so damn stressful for me now. I miss the days when you’d just pop in the cartridge and see a logo and then boom you’re playing. Now I gotta wait forever to download and then I run out of space. And then there’s an update every day.
