Started Forbidden West earlier this week, game looks stunning

SS will be a dead game on arrival IMO, taking an extra year to polish it doesn’t really do anything to suddenly make everyone care about the title. Just drop it and move on.

 

AC Odyssey & Origins were already on Game Pass for free and I just bought Valhalla about a month ago for $20 on the X Box store (was discounted that day not sure if still is same price).

Prob won't be spending $$ on Ubisoft + AND Game Pass

 

I don't blame them for having their own service. I blame them for the price of it.

 

Well with that attitude, sure.

 

I am looking forward to seeing what they do with the game in the meantime.

Game looks pretty amazing

 

I know I SHOULDNT but will the story just be an incoherent mess if I skip the first and just go here? I have tried the 1st game twice and I just lose steam. The voice acting and interactions are pretty wooden, and I have found the pacing and the gameplay sort of boring? exciting for quick bursts but not engaging. I think I probably played 5-10 hours twice and I don't think I have it in me to try it a third time. But the new game looks so pretty and the combat more refined and entertaining.

I could read the story of the first so I'm not lost as well but does the 2nd fill you in enough without that?

They delayed suicide squad for like 9 months just to “polish” it some more yeah this game is done lol
